Monica Bertauld
Monica Bertauld, founder and director of the center is a Junior Advanced 2 teacher certified by the Ramamani Iyengar® Memorial Yoga Institute (Pune, India). She began the practice of Yoga at the age of 14 with her yoga teaching mother. At 16, during her first retreat, she choses to dedicate her life to the study and teaching of yoga. She also followed the teaching of zen meditation master Taïkan Jyoji, of soufi master Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, and of nada yogui Shyamji Bathnagar.

After physiotherapy studies, followed by a 4 year training at the EFY (French School of yoga), she began teaching Yoga at the age of 22 in the family centre. At the same time, she discovered the teaching of B.K.S. Iyengar®, whose practice and teacher’s training she has followed. Since then she has dedicated herself to the Iyengar® method and created a yoga centre in 1987.

After several stays at the famous Hippocrates health institute in Florida, she integrated raw foods into her everyday life, and proposes to experiment it during the yoga training courses she organises.
She took courses in biological decoding (study of somatized psychic conflicts), so as to apply more precisely her knowledge in therapeutic yoga, which is one of the facets of the Iyengar® method.

She continues to pass regular evaluations, to visit regularly the Iyengar® institute in India, in conformity with the wishes of B.K.S. Iyengar® who asks that the professors are above all students of yoga.
President of the AFYI (French Association of Yoga Iyengar®) from 1997 till 1999, member of the technical committee of teaching from 2003 till 2006, she also trains teachers.

Sylvie Berger
Sylvie discovers Iyengar yoga in 2011. A scientist by training, she immediately appreciates the precision and intensity of the method as well as the mental stability generated by the Iyengar method.

She has been practicing daily since 2012 and takes courses with different teachers in Paris, Nanterre and Chatou.

Wishing to develop her theoretical knowledge, she follows in May 2014 the Sivananda teachers formation. But it is the Iyengar yoga who lives in her heart, and she decides in October 2014 to start the Iyengar teacher training with Monica Bertauld. She is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher since June 2017.

Myriam
Certified teacher, Myriam practices Iyengar Yoga with Monica Bertauld since 1998. After studying law and theater, she works, as an amateur, for a theater company "la compagnie du plateau" for 15 years, as an actress and administrator. Yoga becomes her main passion.

After 20 years working in business, I now dedicate myself to the practice and teaching of Iyengar yoga. Assiduous practitioner since 2006 and certified in 2014 after following a teacher training in the Chatou center, I continue to deepen my knowledge to transmit this generous, rigorous and precise discipline.
